Edenparty – Partying in Outdoor
On Thursday, June 22, Edenparty took place: an exclusive party organized by Edenpark to celebrate with his friends the arriving summer. The setting of the event was the splendid Villa Vittoria, one of the most evocative places in the panorama of Florentine nightlife.
Before the event, Francesco Celentano, CEO of Edenpark Firenze, had the pleasure of intervening as a guest of the format Parole in Villa, conceived by Giovanni Fittante, that takes place every Thursday. The protagonists are important city personalities, who deal with issues related to entrepreneurship, environment, art or culture more in general.
On this occasion, the theme was “Citizen outdoor in the 2030 agenda”.
In the presence of the Florentine deputy mayor Alessia Bettini, the architect Gabriella Vetrugno and Francesco Celentano himself, with Giovanni Fittante as moderator, the themes were sustainability, environment, design and future.
A challenge, according to Celentano, that starts from the assumption that it is necessary to return to “being Florentine”, in a grandiose city, still capable of “generating that wow effect” that has always characterized it.
Celentano reflected on the role of Florence, a city “that must return to doing great things and not just limited to the role of a guardian of past grandeur”.
For the CEO of Edenpark, in fact, “being Florentine means raising the bar” – an attitude necessary in this historical period, which for its problems related to the environment and sustainability deserves reflection from many points of view.
Themes and reflections that in recent years have stirred consciences, beginning to recognize the green, the open spaces and the outdoors in general the role they deserve.
And it is a return to the past, from a certain point of view: “I was born as a boy from Ponte a Greve who lived his days outside, in the square with friends”, says Celentano – “I generated outdoors what is the Francesco of now, then over the years I worked on it”.
People who reappropriate the outdoors, the outdoors who reappropriate people. With the Municipality of Florence called to do its part, favoring this new union between living outside and citizens.
At the end of the intervention the real party began, in a large space in the garden of Villa Vittoria, entirely dedicated to the event, with an area set up with the most particular and elegant furniture products available from Edenpark.
It was an opportunity to review old and new friends, in an informal context and seasoned with cocktails, chatter and smiles.
